RGB 15kHz output - VGA666RGBs vs RGB-Pi?
-
I just picked up my first monitor that has (or will have) RGB inputs, so now I'm thinking of my options to get RGB out of my Pi.
Anyone have much experience with either of these? Do they use different drivers maybe? Is the configuration the same between the two? Are they fundamentally the same product, but with different connectors? Because if that's the case, I'll probably just go with the VGA666RGBs, as it'll be simpler to connect to my monitor's BNC connectors.
Just wanting to get some information so I can make an informed decision on this. I realise there are HDMI to RGB or component converters out there, but it would be nice to be able to get analog straight out of the Pi.
If anyone has any input on this, that would be great. Thanks!

Besides the pictures and the seller's page, there's no much info about VGA666RGBs. They say it's compatible with Raspbian/RetroPie/etc., so I assume it works similarly to other GPIO analog video add-ons, using the standard
vga666
'driver'.For RGP-Pi, I remember it outputs RGB via Scart, so it might not be the first choice if your monitor has no Scart inputs. Not sure about the driver, though.
