        On 2600 lots do:

The original Pitfall! also ends, when you get every treasure.
Enduro is a racing game that has an ending.
Riddle of the Sphinx is an adventure game.
        Superman can be beaten.
I haven't played them, but the SwordQuest games are all adventures, right?
You can beat Star Raiders as well.

I didn't know that. Thanks for another peace of useless information in my nerdmind!

            Superman can be beaten.

At first I read "eaten". Time to go to bed.

@retropieuser555 maybe it was a different smurf game then. I remember reading about weird things developers hide in video games and one of them was an ending involving a nude smurfette or something weird like that.

@quicksilver ohhh sorry I thought you meant E.T. game. I had no idea but I just googled and yes apparently there is some bizarre glitch in the game:-

That is seriously weird. Wonder how someone found it ha!

Do old computer games like the original Ultima and Wizardry count?

Why not. Must be like 2 generation systems games.

@dteam If you start including computer platforms, you will have THOUSANDS on your list. Every single adventure game, RPG game, etc. I would stick to consoles :)

It was an innovation when Adventure had an ending on the 2600. But by then, computer games had had the sort of endings you are looking for since Colossal Cave Adventure in 1975.

Good point, I agree with you, we will stay with consoles. That was the first idea behind that survey/challenge.
