Need help with saving data.

Hello I have been changing my retroarch.cfg all files in CONFIGEDIT; I have to do this to get Retroarch to work and therefore all of my games which need the program. My question is, how do I keep the settings that I set in CONFIGEDTI, every time I turn off the retropie I have to set those settings again.
Also, my PlayStation emulator doesn't work unless I install from source and that is annoying as well...
Thanks, hopefully other people are having this problem... -

Idk the rest, I brought it off ebaysorry, but we do not support third party images, as per point 5 in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. additionally, preloaded systems break the license, as per here
at a guess, your SD card is corrupt and in read-only mode, but with a third party image all bets are off. your best bet is to start from fresh via https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

If you start again from scratch with a fresh installation of the Official Retropie Image .. you will lose everything.
