How do I do that? I am new to this HDMI.
Did you ever connected anything to your TV so far ? How did you do it ? HDMI is just a port in which you connect the audio/video cable. Want to read more - check out the Wiki page about it.
You can check your preferred Internet shopping site.
The 1st Amazon link posted is a for a
minimicroHDMI to HDMI cable, that should be enough to connect your Pi4 to the TV.Yes, MICRO. Not mini.

The 8bitdo controller is a bit of a bargain. Do you know any other bluetooth controllers for cheaper? Also how do I pair it with the pi?
-
Also how do I pair it with the pi?
It's explained in the docs - through the setup script.
-
How do I find the mac address?
-
@omission229 What for ?
-
For the pairing, it says that you can select the mac address from the list but how do I find it?
-
@omission229 Usually the name of the device is displayed, so it will be enough to select it.
I suggest you first get your Pi and then follow https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ to install it. If you have questions then and you can't find the answer in the docs, then come ask in the forums. -
Hmm yeah good idea, sorry to bother you. I just wanted to know what I am getting into you know? Because it's my first time.
-
Another thing, how much gb of ram will I really need for retropie? 2gb model or 4 gb model? Keep in mind most of the time i will be playing dreamcast and psp the 3d stuff.
-
@omission229 2 GB. I don't think you'll ever use more than one.
-
True
-
I've read that Dolphin Emulator needs 2gb of ram. So does it still work fine if it is max or does it always need a little extra space?
-
@omission229 You will not play Dolphin on the Raspberry Pi.
