Hi all, I'm trying to add a few systems to Carbon - Naomi, Atomiswave, PC88 and PC98.

I've just taken the Arcade and X6800 controller graphics and used those for the above, I'm happy with that side of things.

I'd like to have a logo for each though, currently I have just deleted the system.svg references from each system's folder so it just shows text stating each system's name.

I downloaded Inkscape and tried to amend the system.svgs by deleting out what was there already and pasting in a new image, while keeping the image box the same size.

When I put the links back into system.svg after making the change, I just get a blank space with no logo for each system in Emulation Station. I have noticed that my edited .svg is much bigger than the theme's originals.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? It isn't the end of the World but would be nice to fix it.

Edit: I've done a bit more digging now. Judging from this thread: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2975/svg-format-for-emulationstation - I might have to convert the object in my system.svg to "path" before this works. I'll try that in the morning.

Hi @UDb23 - I think I am almost there now. Although I am still having trouble with PC-88 so may need your help still. Let me have another try later.

What worked for me was tracing bitmaps to objects, then converting those to path. That seemed to work. But not for PC-88. Also, I kind of want to colour them in a bit, but maybe I should just leave them as they are as they look fine in black and white anyway.

Thanks very much for the offer of help though.

I have but I thought I would have to mess with it for it to be the correct size format.. I can't just use this and rename it, can I?

@adambegood No but it's easy to adapt.
Open an existing system.svg and delete the current logo.
Open that PC88 svg file, select the paths, copy and paste in the previous system.svg, scale as needed to fit, save.

That's worked! Thank you so much for the heads-up on that. I've found coloured Naomi and Atomiswave svgs now as well, the Theme is looking good!

Edit: I won't post them as don't anticipate demand, but if anyone wants PC-88, PC-98, Naomi or Atomiswave svgs, give me a shout!
