Does anyone know of a way to display the release date in EmulationStation as "Month(name) Year?" For example, using the default MM/DD/YYYY format, I would want the release date 06/07/2021 to display as "June 2021."

I read through the docs and found that the month number can be called as %m, but I'm looking to associate each of the numbers in [01,12] with the actual month name.

I assume this can be done by creating a new variable and creating a list of "if...then" statements, but my coding skills are clunky. 😊

I am also known as "StormedBubbles"

There's no format string for Month name, just for month number.
