Hey guys, i'm a huge fan of all Dance Dance Revolution series, i've been playing with my friends since our childhood and we just play on controllers. Some years ago i've bought a Raspberry Pi 3, and one of my main goals was to play DDR games, specially on PSX, like 3rd mix and 5th mix. But i tried with 3rd mix and i just couldn't play it properly. The time of response seemed to be ok (but not 100%) between the input on the controller and the response on my TV (mine is a 4k TV, that could problably mess up somehow with some lag on the response, but apparently it didn't), but it seems to be some kind of desynchronization, the arrows seems to be a little off if compared with the music, i can't explain it for sure, just that all elements aren't 100% synced, but the game is somehow playable, what makes me crazy, cause i feel like i just need a little something, and i could play it perfectly xD i just would like to to play with most synced as i can, maybe someone have some experience to share (maybe a Raspberry Pi 4 could bring a even better response? Don't think this is the case, cause DDR isn't a game that demands too much of the machine i think, but maybe i should consider this option too). Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance

Pi Model or other hardware: 3 Model b
Power Supply used: CanaKit 2.5A USB Power Supply with Micro USB
RetroPie Version Used : It's been a while since i've used my retropie, don't know if i've checked in the right place. If it's in Retropie -> Retropie Setup, it's 4.3.8. If not, please let me know where i can check it properly for you.
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website (couldn't find the filename exactly, i've followed a video guide some years ago that requested me to download the SD image from retropie website, but that's all i remember now)
      USB Devices connected: 1 keyboard
Controller used: Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (via Bluetooth)
      Error messages received: -
      Emulator: 1.6.7 PCSX-Rearmed r22

If i've missed some important info, please let me know so i can get it, i'm almost a total layman at the matter. Thanks in advance

Edit: found out some old compatibility list of games in PCSX noticing that DDR 3rd Mix : "Game runs fine, however it's unplayable due to the arrows and song going out of sync."
maybe i should just leave the idea of playing DDR on Raspberry and use another emulator that runs it better on PC?

@kiddzeal if you update to the latest retropie (you'll need to start from a fresh image at this point) you can try the experimental new psx emulator 'lr-duckstation' which i expect plays this game well (it's been very good for most things).

there's likely little you can do to resolve issues with pcsx_rearmed -it's a mostly abandoned emulator.
