Hi. I’m new to retropie and emulators in general and I’ve looked all over the place for a solution and couldn’t find any. My issue is on the few games I have installed for psx. Ff tactics and suikoden 1 and 2. I have no sound at all on intros and cutscenes. I I have menu sounds and background music in game but no cutscene sound at all. This is only with psx no other emulators. Any ideas?

@shallamar need more info on your hardware. It may be the default emulator (lr-pcsxRearmed) just may have bugs with those games. Also do you have a bios installed? If you have a pi3 or 4, you might want to try the experimental emulator lr-duckstation. You can install it from the retropie setup menu under experimental. It’s a newer emulator and seems to solve many bugs from the older pcsxRearmed. If that doesn’t work, you may just have bad rips of the games.

@lostless Thank you so much. I downloaded the different emulator and it works fine now.
