Amstrad CPC/Caprice32: Physical keyboard supported?

Hi,

I am running the Caprice32 Amstrad CPC emulator, and most things seem to work fine.
However, I am having with the physical keyboard.

Within Caprice32, only a few keys will work, and many do not, such as SPACE and RETURN (the small ENTER key works, though).
Is there a way to fix this? Using the virtual keyboard isn't always a suitable option in games.

I've tried with different keyboards, and the problem is the same.

Raspberry PI 3, Retropie v4.7.1, all updated as of 26.08.2021.

Try pressing Scroll Lock, it switches Game Focus on/off.
