How do you install sub folders?
-
Hi guys, and thanks in advance. I'm pretty new to Retropie, and I can't figure out how to set up sub folders.
For instance, if I just put megadrive roms in the base megadrive folder, all roms load fine. If I try to make an extra folder though (For instance, megadrive/Y-Z-#), I see the folder "Y-Z-#" inside of retropie and I also see the ROMS inside of the folder, but none of the ROMs will actually launch.
Sorry in advance if this is something that is asked often and I just missed it.

edit: i obviously went plum dum retarded an forgot how to read....

@Teleboas The problem seems to be the
#
character. It has a special meaning for some RetroPie tools(I'm talking about. Are you having problems with some other subfolders?runcommand.sh
in this case) -
@meleu the # issue was a retroarch bug. Unrelated to runcommand. (It was reportedly fixed recently).
-
@meleu This was my first subfolder that I tried. I can try to make another one and see if it works.
-
@meleu You were right. I made a subfolder without the # in the name and it worked fine. I figured it would be something simple like that.
Thanks again!
