I've never gotten it to run. I've tried multiple flash & boot bins as well as cdi & gdi conversions. Mine is USA though, I don't have access to a Japan/Euro version to test.

What's the contents of the .cue file ? Are the .bin files also present in the psi folder. Also, you're missing the BIOS - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/#bios - , get the bios file and make sure it's in the BIOS folder.

@mitu HI and thank you for your input/help.

Basically I reformatted the SD Card and redownloaded Retropie on to another computer to see if it that did anything? And hey presto clean install and 2 tested roms later it works!!!

@pjft it's a common issue, even mentioned on the NES page in the docs ;)

The next one will be a Pi 3 B so I can have the option to include PS1 and N64 games as well as flexibility to try a bunch of other IoT stuff that's been on my mind for a couple years. :)
