Retropie menu running off the screen!!

I am running a raspberry pi3 on a hdmi tv and have Hurstys vertical space invaders theme installed.

On the main menu the image runs of the screen at the bottom and sides. I have tried adjusting the config file and retroarch aspect ratio settings.

Spent two days trying and nothing seems to work, any advice would be great.

Try enabling or adjusting the overscan settings on your TV or in /boot/config.txt.
