        i have a raspberry 3B, with retropie 4.0.2, i connected 2 snes controllers with the controlblock and one wireless xbox360 controller via the microsoft receiver as well as a keyboard.

          Please read the link again and provide more information - Which snes emulator ? Are you using audio via HDMI or jack ? Which changes did you make in config.txt ? Please post any configs you have "altered" (please use a pastebin site or format the configs in code blocks on the forum - using three backticks above and below - link in the sticky to styling info)

            no sound in all snes emulators, sound over hdmi (had no problems with that the last weeks until today, i changed the hdmi cable still not working),

              From a terminal what do you get if you do

              speaker-test -c2 (ctrl+c to stop - do you get audio ?)

              what is the output of tvservice -s

                speakertest: i just hear a quite sough all the time

                tv service: state 0x12000a (HDMI CEA) (16) RGB lim 19:9) 1920x1080 60hz progressive

                and i already posted boot.config.txt two posts below :)

                    Looks like you have audio_volume set to 0 in both retroarch configs.

                    You have saved the config from retroarch which makes it harder to manage imho - you might want to consider backing up these configs, removing them, then reinstalling retroarch and the snes emulator from binary to get a default config. You can use the configuration editor to edit them then (and you end up with smaller simple files with just a few overrides in the per system config)

                    you shouldn't need hdmi_drive=2 in /boot/config.txt as you are using a CEA mode.

                        i reinstalled retropie this morning and now the controlblock doesnt work no more but it fixed the sound issue :D thx for your help
