Can someone confirm Galaga does NOT work on Pi 3 MAME?

Hi everyone!
I've tried everything but Galaga doesn't seem to work.
I use that program CLRMAMEPRO and rebuilt the ROMs but Retropie loads it and then says some files are missing.
In the latest attempt, it even refuses to load anything and goes back to the game select list.
Help ;-)

I can confirm Galaga works in MAME-2003.

Naw it works otherwise I'd have complained on irc until exobuzz yelled at me by now. Probably something wrong with the set you have
The reason everyone has a favourite version of mame is usually its the first one they get to work right and just build roms around it so read those links from floob

There are so many sites that had bad rom sets out there. Make sure you are getting a working copy of a game you already own :)

I have gotten both the Namco and Midway versions of Galaga to work on both Mame4All and Mame2003. Both require sound samples to complete the experience, but will work without them.
You MUST have the proper roms from the proper romsets for your chosen version of Mame. If you are using Mame4All they must be from the 0.37b5 romset. If you are using Mame2003, they must be from the 0.78 romset. If you are getting roms from some common site, they are almost certainly 0.164 roms and WILL NOT WORK.
