Hey I wanted to share one of my ideas with you guys. What do you think ? It needs some work but it is actually pretty fun
-
That's actually really cool. It would be difficult to play for long periods of time but for a little portable/lunchtime/travel setup it's great!
-
Awesome! You must really like your mints! I have to admit though, I was expecting the bigger tin to have a screen and battery.

@moosepr I thought about that idea and most likely will make a version that works like that. For this project I just wanted to make something everyone could do. If you know how to make a teensy game controller and know how hot glue works then you can make this. I don't have a ton of money so a 3D printer is very far out of my budget but Altoids tins are super cheap, already made, and of course a tasty snack while you work on them lol. I'm working on making a super thin Pi portable based on this idea I found recently.
I think instead of just smaller maybe thinner would be a better direction. I'll be sure to post it up if it takes off. =]

@suprjami Yeah that was the idea. Something small that you could just do on a lunch break or if you were bored at a friends house. The controller as small as it is, isn't really that bad on your hands surprisingly. I played for about an hour and it didn't seem to be a big deal. But yeah thanks for the compliment =].
