      Hi there

      Model: pi4 4gb
      RetroPie: 4.7.2
      Power supply: official

I read a post here recently (can't find it now) that LR-Mupen64plus (regular - not next) has been improved somewhat giving smoother graphics etc. I updated it and I tried it out on a few games (No Mercy, Zelda OOT, Super Mario 64) and couldn't believe the quality improvement in graphics and audio which was pretty much perfect (on some games). A few days later I try it and it suffered severe slowdown and terrible audio - it's like it reverted back to it's old self and I can't think why. Has anyone else noticed this at all?

      cheers

As you can see it hasn't been updated in years. Not sure where you saw that it was. Perhaps you changed some settings?

@quicksilver that's strange as it now gives out High Res graphics on games whereas it never did before I'm sure of it. It was because of this that I tended to go for the Mupen64plus - GlideHighRes options as on some games it just looked great (No Mercy, Super Mario 64) I'll have a look around for the post and update on this thread. I'm probably just getting confused as they're all called Mupen something or other. Thanks!
