      @mitu

      Hey mitu, I had a clean install and added the two sections in the system.sh file within the Scriptmodules folder.

      Now I'm trying to reinstall to show the correct flags, but whatever I reinstall it still shows the previous flags. 64bit gl vulkan x11

      Note: 0 cores installed

      What should I reinstall to update the flags correctly?

      Edit: a restart helped me retrieve the flags into the RetroPie setup

      @mitu said in n64 games 2 player support ?:

      Open the configuration file for Mupen64Plus in /opt/retropie/configs/n64/InputAutoCfg.ini (also accessible via file shares at \\retropie\configs\n64\InputAutoCfg.ini) and remove the keyboard entry, see if it changes the player order.

      I removed the keyboard entry and rebooted and that solved the problem. Thanks!

      @quicksilver that's strange as it now gives out High Res graphics on games whereas it never did before I'm sure of it. It was because of this that I tended to go for the Mupen64plus - GlideHighRes options as on some games it just looked great (No Mercy, Super Mario 64) I'll have a look around for the post and update on this thread. I'm probably just getting confused as they're all called Mupen something or other. Thanks!

      @akamming heya I just did an update at source and it doesn't seem to have this issue? Maybe try updating now?

      sorry for late reaction. I reported an issue on gliden64 and it turns out this issue occurs with FB Emu off on PAL games. so now using USA roms and then it works fine. Will hopefully be fixed in a future release.

      @wookie It's really down to the Mupen64plus devs. If you ask here nicely they might do it... https://github.com/mupen64plus

      @asotocuevas

      By turning the power off to a Raspberry Pi (pulling to cord), you stand a good chance of corrupting the SD card. The Pi does not have an off switch. It must be shut down in software using the Linux command line. There are many hardware solutions on the market to provide safe shutdown of the Pi.

      However, I use the software feature of Emulationstation in the Quit menu where you can select shutdown. Only then can you turn off the power.

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/11476/turn-off-retropie-safely

      Also, your power supply is not powerful enough, you really need at least 2.5A available.

      I do have heat sinks and a fan, I will try another power supply tomorrow and I will post my overclocks.

      I tried it with overclock and stock and it behaves EXACTLY the same.

      I don't have a great answer for you. Specifically for GLideN64 there is a source code repository I have been checking since the project lead gonetz said a new version is imminent. It actually was just published as a specific 2.0 release yesterday. Still has some regression issues like Mario64 though.

      GLideN64 code repository blog

      Not sure how active mupen64plus or glupen is for actual emulators.

      I think I found the issue. The saves were previously stored in "/home/pi/.local/share/mupen64plus/save/", and now they are stored directly in the roms directory alongside the rom itself. Copying the .eep and .st0 file from the first directory to the 2nd recovered my lost save. No other emulators are found in the ""/home/pi/.local/share", so this may be something specific to mupen.
