I cannot seem to connect to wifi within retropie with my new Zero 2 W. I followed all the required steps mentioned in other topics and guides for first setting the WLAN Country and such, but I immediately get a 'No wireless interface found' and 'No wlan0 interface detected' error.

Also all recommend rfkill list and unblock commands did not reveal anything useful. It just keeps saying that there is no wireless interface and no wlan0.

I have ensured that it is not a hardware defect since wifi works fine in Raspbian OS. I have used the retropie weekly build for rasp 2/3 as advised in several other topics.

I apologize if anything is not clear enough or if I'm making some dumb mistake. I'm am no power user.

Could anyone help me to get my wifi working within retropie? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The RetroPie image is based on the Raspi OS Lite image, so if your WiFi worked on Raspi OS, it should also work on RetroPie.

Try using the unattended method - explained here - to configure your WiFi.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem, I tried with octoprint and raspberry OS ditto, I have the impression that it is from the last version.
