Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
-
Hi guys.
I have a small problem with Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. I have managed to map it correctly but I can not have vibration. Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?
Some help would be appreciated.
Regards.

How are you testing the controller for rumble/vibration ? Which game are you using to check ?

Hi thank for your response. I tried several that know that had rumble on original PS1. Gran Turismo 2, Resident Evil 2 Dual Shock Version, Resident Evil 3, etc.
I have went to retroarch settings and have selected for the controller dualshock and retropad with analog based on some answers on this forum still not working.

Install the
dkms-hid-nintendo
driver as explained in the 1st section of https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-Switch-Controllers/.
Reconfigure the controller (pair it again via Bluetooth and configure it in ES) and re-try again to see if rumble works. -
Yes it works thank you very much.
But I am facing an other issue now. After some time of working the controller auto disconnects, like losing Bluetooth connection (seeing the led on controller to move) and after sometime it connects again (when you holding a button).
Is there any other configs that should I need to do?
To edit something. I did not enabled the joycond service because when working and paired the controller is not giving any commands to retropie. I think is not a big problem because as it is (without joycond service) is working fine and as far I see is for motion sensors to be working which I do not use. Maybe I am wrong and need to be working?

I don't think so, installing the
hid
driver is the only step to take. Does it disconnect while in use or when you're not using it ? -
After some testing it disconnects when have rumble enabled. Without rumble no problem at all. It only does that when in use. The problem starts when it have rumble enabled.
I have notice this also. When in dualschock mode on retroarch it disconnects far more times per minute from when having on standard mode which seems to be working with less rumble effect( probably one motor is working not both like on dualshock)
