      Hello,

Pi Model or other hardware: PI4B
      Power Supply used: Original
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.8
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: 4
      Controller used: Keyboard, mouse
      Error messages received:
After using scrapper (integrated in ES and Steven Selph's Scraper), game list is correctly populated but I can't see any informations from it (screenshots, description, rating, etc..) on the screen. It works for some emulators but I have this cas for dreamcast and playstation.

Verbose log (if relevant): Noting in log :

Guide used: official documentation : https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Scraper/
      File:
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/psx/gamelist.xml

Emulator: Dreamcast (lr-flycast), and PSX (lr-pcsx_rearmed)
      Attachment of config files: gamelist.xml
      PSX : https://pastebin.com/cucH6bzw
      DREAMCAST : https://pastebin.com/Nhf0iGUp

      How to replicate the problem:
      Juste scrap with internal scrapper

      Thanks for you help.

Are you sure you don't have a gamelist.xml also in the roms folder for those systems ?

@mitu that was my first thought as well, but in their log it says:

          May 13 17:21:56 lvl2: Parsing XML file "/home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml"...

            @sleve_mcdichael and @mitu,
Actually I did not saw that, but after investigation, I can see that both files are the same :

            pi@retropie:~ $ ll /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml
            -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 11925 May 13 17:20 /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml
            pi@retropie:~ $ ll .emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml
            -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 11925 May 13 17:20 .emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml

            Same date, same size
I checked the content and it's the same, diff gives me nothing :
            diff /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml .emulationstation/gamelists/dreamcast/gamelist.xml

I checked also the images, to be sure they are downloaded and it's fine.

I scrapped neogeo games and it worked fine. As you can see, both files are a the same structure (same creation date, same size) :
            pi@retropie:~ $ ll /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/neogeo/gamelist.xml
            -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 34653 May 13 20:29 /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/neogeo/gamelist.xml
            pi@retropie:~ $ ll .emulationstation/gamelists/neogeo/gamelist.xml
            -rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 34653 May 13 20:29 .emulationstation/gamelists/neogeo/gamelist.xml

Yes, /home/pi/.emulationstation/ is the same folder as /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation.

Can you post your es_settings.cfg file ?

Looking more closely at the gamelist files - the reason you don't see the artwork/metadata is you have sub-folders for each game. The listing you see when you enter the systems is the sub-folder names, not the games - if you open/enter the folder entry you'll see the actual entry, with images/desc/etc.

Yes, /home/pi/.emulationstation/ is the same folder as /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation.

But it's not the roms folder, was my point. (edit: whoops, you weren't replying to me, and I misread what they had said.)

Is it odd that it's parsing that one, though, and not the one in roms since it seems like they do both exist?

                      @mitu,

Oh yes you're right, if I go down to the directory I can see the images...

                      Thanks..
