I have got Retropie/Kodi on my Raspberry Pi 4 but, as it has me to configure my gamepad which is a powera Mario. As i configure the buttons, I hold the button like it say to configure but some say, Not Difind- other words, it won't take the button. Is it the gamepad.

@raspberry79 Don't HOLD the button, just tap it. If you hold the button it will skip over it.

Is the controller working on another system - a PC ? You can test it with something like https://gamepad-tester.com while connected to your PC.

@mitu On Retropie, the white screencomes up aksing for gamepad config.
and so i start doing so. I just bump the buttons and on the screen, it will take, but some, i can bump and some still says "Not Defining.
The wire powera gamepad super mario https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-EnWired-Controller-Mario-nintendo-switch/dp/B08F44N24Z/ref=sr_1_52?crid=3GUM83GAOQ11F&keywords=PowerA+Wired+Controller+Mario+Punch+Nintendo+Switch+(NS)&qid=1653292035&sprefix=powera+%2Caps%2C253&sr=8-52 got from Walmart, I noticed later that it has buttons on the backside, one of the buttons in the center is a program button.

@raspberry79 Yes, we have the idea where the issue appears in the mapping dialog.

What I'm asking if the controller is compatible with a PC, since it's a Nintendo Switch controller and it may not work correctly on a PC. Can you perfom a test as I indicated above ?
