      Hello,
I have an issue with my original PS3 controller which is not recognized in games for lr-ppsppp.
Basically, I can use it in LR menu (which I can access via another pad) only with dpad (no analogically nor specific button like select or start).
I tried to use it via PPSSPP and it works fine (I had to do a manual remap) but I'd like to use libretto for all my emulation station so I'd rather use lr.

Pi Model or other hardware: PI4
      Power Supply used: original
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.8
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected:
      pi@retropie:~/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/controllermap $ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 413c:2003 Dell Computer Corp. Keyboard
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0079:0006 DragonRise Inc. PC TWIN SHOCK Gamepad
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0079:0006 DragonRise Inc. PC TWIN SHOCK Gamepad
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2109:3431 VIA Labs, Inc. Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Controller used: 2 dragonrise (works fine) and 2 original PS3 BT connected controllers
Error messages received: no error, just not works
      Verbose log (if relevant): none
      Guide used:
      I used this note https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/15577/ppsspp-controller-setup-guide-for-when-nothing-else-works
But I saw that my device was already present in the file gamecontrollerdb.txt

      File: /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-ppsspp/assets/gamecontrollerdb.txt
      Emulator: lr-ppsspp
Attachment of config files: please ask for any logs, I can upload, for now I can't see any error
How to replicate the problem: PS3 controller with lr-ppsspp

      thanks for your help.

        @cimbaklm said in PS3 control on LR-PPSSPP:

How exactly did you test this ? Did you start lr-ppsspp with only the PS3 controller(s) connected ? Are the Dragonrise controllers still present when you did the testing ?
Please post a verbose log from starting a game with lr-ppsspp, on pastebin.com.

        I used this note https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/15577/ppsspp-controller-setup-guide-for-when-nothing-else-works

That doesn't apply to the libretro core, any gamecontrollerdb related configurations apply only to the standalone emulator.
