Hello, I’ve got a pi4 running newest retopie, added some psx games to it and few aren’t booting got told to make sure pcsx-rearmed is instilled, went into files and it’s saying it’s unavailable for my system, is there something I’ve done wrong or missed?

@Bothaammm (lr-)pcsx-rearmed is installed by default with the official retropie-image.
If you say "some dont boot" - other ones do???
Which emulator is running these others?
Please give more information about your setup as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

@Bothaammm lr-pcsx_rearmed (ie, the libretro core within 'main' in the retreopie package manger) is preinstalled in the pi4 retropie image.

pcsx_rearmed (ie, the standlone core within 'optional' section of retropie packages), is not pre-installed and doesn't work with the pi4, but it's not really needed as you have the above. you don't need to install anything.

please give logs etc on the games that aren't booting as per https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

sidenote: there are still some psx-games that dont run at all (on a Pi 1,2,3,4), no matter what emulator, which bios etc. ("Pro Pinball" Series as example)

@Bothaammm As far as medieval runs it is not the missing emulator.
It seems that you have bad dumps, bad roms/isos or in an unsupported format.
What filetypes are tekken3 & Co?

@Bothaammm i have not seen bin.ecm for a long time.
I guess you got pretty old isos/dumps.
AFAIR bin.ecm can be unzipped once more to get the pure bin, but i would recommend to search for newer isos.
Furthermore you could try to find all psx-games in "CHD" format.
You would safe a lot of space.
