After enabling RetroAchievement, I've noticed that the achievement image is being clipped. This happens in every game I've tried.

I believe this should be the image that should be displayed:

      What I tried:
Increasing the RetroAchievement message did not fix the clipping issue (https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroAchievements/#retroachievements-messages)

Any suggestions on what to try next?

@theboundlesssky it might be an issue with the version of Retroarch as with retropie it tends to be behind a couple of versions (although not sure if that's still the case more recently)

        Edit:- also blackthorne great choice!

Could be an issue with the RetroArch version, but the latest one available in RetroPie (10.0.0) shouldn't be affected.

I can't reproduce this on a Pi4 - can you make sure you're fully updated and try again ? Are you using a special resolution or have any other RetroArch configuration that might impact the video display (bezels ?) ?

@mitu I don't have any bezels in place, but I did have to modify the /boot/config.txt file to get it to properly display on my TV.

            Here is my /boot/config.txt file

What was the issue with the TV ?

Looking at the config file, try removing/commenting the overscan_scale option and reboot, see if that makes a difference.

@mitu It's been a while, but I remember EmulationStation having black bars surrounding the entire view. I tried disabling the overscane_scale option, but the issues persists.

If you have a default /boot/config file I can try using that to see if the issue is related to /boot/config or something else. I wasn't able to find the base /boot/config file anywhere

Just download the RetroPie image for your Pi model and open it with 7zip, you can look at the boot partition and extract the default config.txt without writing the image on a sdcard/usb stick.
