      Hi

      Pi Model: 3
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.02
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected:
Controller used: THT 2 player USB to jamma adapter

Adapter works perfectly in Windows. But I cannot get the Pi to recognise Up and Left on the ZIPPYY joystick. Moving connectors does not fix the problem. Issue is with both joysticks as I have modified the cmdline.txt file with appropriate entry (usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x75e1:0x040) and can see two controllers separately.

      jstest produces output :

      Joystick (THT 2P arcade controller THT 2P arcade controller) has 2 axis (X,Y) and 12 buttons (Trigger, ThumbBtn, ThumbBtn2, TopBtn, TopBtn2, PinkieBtn, BaseBtn, BaseBtn2, BaseBtn3, BaseBtn4, BaseBtn5, BaseBtn6).
Axes: 0: 0 1: 0 (when joystick in the middle)
      Axes: 0: 0 1: 0 (when joystick moved left)
      Axes: 0: 32767 1: 0 (when joystick moved right)
      Axes: 0: 0 1: 0 (when joystick moved up)
      Axes: 0: 0 1: 32767 (when joystick moved down)

Have tried guides found on Google regarding custom kernels and patches because I believe that mine appears to be a Xin-Mo clone with no success and repeated brick / reinstall across many versions of Retropie from 3.6 up.

Any advice / assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you solved this? I have the same joystick, the same interface and the same issue with retropie 4.02
