      Hi,
sorry, forgot to say.... Yes, I put the panafz10.bin into that folder.
For me it´s the /home/thorsten/RetroPie/BIOS folder.

In retroarch.conf, do you have ~/RetroPie/BIOS ? In retroarch.cfg.rp-dist, did you change /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS to /home/thorsten/RetroPie/BIOS ? Are you running emulation station as thorsten?

          • I can find a file named retroarch.conf.
          • retroarch.cfg.rp-dist exists three times:
            /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro https://pastebin.com/DPz2FcTs
            /opt/retropie/configs/n64 https://pastebin.com/C3cLRJNh
            /opt/retropie/configs/all https://pastebin.com/02ZSH7in in this one ther is the entry system_directory = "/home/thorsten/RetroPie/BIOS"
          • Yes, I installed Ubuntu with user "thorsten" and emulationstation also works with this user name.
          • I also found this: /opt/retropie/configs/3do/retroarch-core.options.cfg https://pastebin.com/i6JsmzHr
            I can't see any errors... :-/

Sorry, then I'm out of ideas. My 3DO emulation did the same thing. I added the BIOS --> it worked. Now, I'm looking for a solution for Amiga emulation. Some games there also just have a black screen, the BIOS didn't help there either.

Maybe someone else can help here?

Can you try loading a .cue/.bin image and see if it works ?

Because of the /retroarch-core.options.cfg tonight I remembered that I had two different panafaz10.bin while installation. This morning I downloaded several panafz.bin from different location and tadaaa one works fine! Thank your for pointing me in that direction!

                Greetings Thorsten

Which emulator do you use for Amiga. I´m using fs-uae. It´s working pretty good. And if you add some commandos into the fs-uae.sh the emulator starts in fullscreen and autoload up to four disks.
I´m using kickfile 1.3 and I don´t know any games that wont´t work.

Hi! I think, it's UAE4All, but I'm not sure. I'm using exclusively whdload packages -- some work greats, others complain about missing kickstarter roms, others just show a black screen.

The Final Answer - 2 parts.......1. Match your bios selction point to your correct approx 1 meg rom...for example panafz10.bin or fz-10.bin or FZ-10.bin or fz10.bin, one of those worked. I can't tell you which one it was. I had the panafz10.bin rom and the FZ-10.bin rom that renamed to both lowercase fz10.bin and fz-10.bin.

                      1. THIS IS HUGE- OPTIONS-> TURN OPERA OS SWI-HLE to ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BING! BING! BING! BING!

@duglor please stop bumping old topics - this one was already solved and with the same 'solution' you found (use the right BIOS).

@mitu Nono. It was the switch in options that did it finally. I had the bios changed already and nothing happened, but it is of course part of the answer.

I had to switch the Opera OS SWI-HLE option to ON in "Options" to make it really work! THAT was the real answer for me. The bios was only part of it.
