      Hi all,
I just terminated a bartop, installed retropie 4.0.2 according to wiki on a pi 3, setting up wifi, and tried to install rom with Steven Selph's Scraper.
After a reboot, I tried to access to the scraper, but unfortunately I'm not able to select an emulator. I think that either the Selph's Scraper went not well (I doubt), or that I missed something in the process. The only emulator available is Retropie, and I'm not able to go further to the download...
I tried as well to update the scraper to the latest version, and I don't have all the list of ROM's as described in https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/scraper

The SFTP access works (and wifi link), but I'm a bit stuck as beginner what I need to check when scripts sounds good (download / installation) and emulators are not available in the EmulationStation (ScrapeNow->System) Built-In Scraper.

Thanks by advance for your help, or link to tutorial.

        Samuel

@samuelk sorry the dumb question, but did you filled your roms directories with the respective roms?

The scraper only get data for the games you have.

Not all emulators are installed by default.

tried to install rom with Steven Selph's Scraper.

The scraper is not intended to "install roms".

@samuelk as @meleu said, the scraper just gets metadata for games you have. A few seconds on your favorite search engine will show you where to get game files. Don't ask here. It's against the rules.

Ok, thanks to all for your clarifications.
I was able to install rom with proper file extension as described there: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-setup/wiki/Supported-Systems
It works with what I tried.
