Can you add folders in a collection instead of just individual roms?

Is it possible to add a folder with a compilation of games in it to a collection in RetroPie? I've tried referencing the folder in the collection cfg, but that doesn't seem to work and it doesn't get picked up in the collection.
For instance, I would like to add a folder to a collection that has all my Super Mario World hacks in it, and then one for Super Metroid, and so on.
