@IanDaemon I also have had the “Dual” version of this for a long time, fifteen years maybe? Slightly smaller and without the trackball. It has held up great.
I did eventually resolve the joysticks themselves with iL Eurosticks, which I really love. They fit right into the panel without having to modify the wood at all.

          @YFZdude

I finally received an answer from Amazon today.

          My question:
"Is it possible to use acetone to remove some of the unwanted text wording and logos on this for a more cleaner look?"

          Their reply:
          "Yes it is"

Strange that it didn't work at all on your end. :(

Well I have no doubt it will at some point remove the labels. I just wasn't sure how much plastic it would take with it and didn't want to go too far. I was concerned that i was about to create a divot in the panel.

If you are brave and want to give it a try I would just advise going slowly.

I actually use two different ones.
This Street Fighter 4 one that I found at a Sams Club for only $50 new. (weirdly enough it was kind of hidden away)

And a generic black one I got for when others want to play with the arcade sticks too

@IanDaemon said in Who uses an arcade stick?:

@Addison I just bought it directly from them. https://shop.xgaming.com/products/x-arcade-tankstick-trackball-usb-included basketbros

Know what you're buying: (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=149897.0) The Tankstick is "a jack of all trades and a master of none." This is totally fine for most applications. There is a decent modding community out there for Tanksticks if you are so inclined.

                  I understand!

I've done some looking around for a good fightstick for the Raspberry Pi 4 and this one [the 8Bitdo arcade stick] seems like a good design for the price point ($80 before shipping).

Is this compatible w/ my console? I'm pretty new to the Raspberry Pi scene and just wanna make sure it'll work if I plug it into the usb port.

@TheIronCorpse That'll work fine. Pretty sure its BT aswell, so you can use it wireless. It also works with the Nintendo Switch, Windows & Android devices. I have the predecessor
(and about 7 other 8Bitdo controllers..).
