Amiberry v5.5.1 runs Bad and Sound lag
-
I have the latest Amiberry v5.5.1 and unfortunately it doesn't run well on the RPI3. It often jerks and the sound is delayed. I've already tried all the tips and tricks from the internet, including all possible settings with the sound buffer, etc., nothing works. I
I need to switch to UAE4All because good running performance is more important than anything else.
My last version of Amiberry was 3.3 and it ran fine. Which old version of Amiberry still ran well without these stutters and how can you install these older versions on Retropie? -
You should add more details about your setup, as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Does the slowdown affects all games or just a few ?

You can only install the current version, there's no archive for older version that can be installed. You can install from source an older version, but you'll have to downgrade RetroPie to a version before Amiberry 5 was added (May 2022).

I'm using Amiberry in the latest Retropie, installed via the script module. For this I use a virtual hard disk, about 1.5 GB large file in a directory (no hdf). It's not always noticeable, but it's especially noticeable in Shadow of the Beast 3, the title screen. It stutters terribly and shows how bad this emulation is. When I use the emulator UAE4All, at least nothing jerks and the cover screen of Shadow of the Beast 3 also runs smoothly.

Try reducing the buffers ist to 2 in soundsetting and switch off the Filters.
Try also changing copper-setting in the chipsettings.
Also dont use jit in cpu-setting -
@Turrican2k I had the same problem, played with all settings but none of them did the trick. Only downgrading to 3.3 worked for me.
ssh to the system thenwget https://github.com/BlitterStudio/amiberry/releases/download/v3.3/amiberry-v3.3-rpi3-dmx-32bit.zip unzip amiberry-v3.3-rpi3-dmx-32bit.zip cp amiberry /opt/retropie/emulators/amiberry/ cp capsimg.so /opt/retropie/emulators/amiberry/
