    Hi Guys,

I have gone through the GPIO next and set up my 2 player cabinet with the correct pins. However when I open emulation station and go to configure my controls. It says 2 gamepads detected, then when I hold down a button it only comes up as a keyboard. Any idea how to get it to detect the joypad instead?

Try the instructions from this GPIONext issue to diagnose the problem.

@mitu I tried the testing through gpionext testing 1 & 2 for each gamepad, all the buttons were picked up properly. I am still getting the same issue however. When I go to set up my gamepad, despite the fact it says 2 game pads detected, when I hold down a button to being set up, it comes up as keyboard.
