This is the second time that i noticed it.
When i quite the emulation station to load into kodi, it comes up with the retropie terminal window asking me to reboot, so i type in reboot and enter. When quitting emulation station to load Kodi, it never before come up with the retropie terminal window asking me to type in reboot. I could quite and loads right on into Kodi.

You don't need to reboot or quit EmulationStation to start Kodi, you can start it right from the Ports system. Not sure where the 'prompt to reboot' is coming from - are you using the image from retropie.org.uk/download or some 3rd party image ?

          A little better question.
Normaly, when you quite EmulationStation, a popup appears saying loadin kodi. That normal, but later, every time I quite EmulationStation, the retro pie terminal comes up on the screen and I have to type in reboot

@raspberry79 said in retopie to Kodi:

That's not what 'normally' happens in RetroPie - you either have modified the start-up script to load Kodi once EmulationStation exists or you're using a 3rd party setup.

Either way, I don't see how we can help you - use the supported configuration from RetroPie of starting Kodi from EmulationStation or set-up Kodi to start at boot instead of EmulationStation.

              Re-Edited the question.
              Aww, i got it.
I first time when i installed Retropie on my Raspberry Pi4 i also installed Kodi on it. Everytime I quite EmulationStation, the terminal window flashes up on the screen and them reboots. It launches Kodi. like it should.

Now since that i had to re-do it all over, reinstall Retropie on to the SD card and then install Kodi once i got it setup on Raspberry Pi4. I finally got Roms setup on retropie after failing for the first time. Everything is looking good now, but here the question. Every time that i quite EmulationStation, the terminal windows comes up, having me to type in reboot, install of going on through and launch Kodi like it should.
