Probleme with dolphin
-
Hello, I have a question. I am configuring my raspberry pi 4 as an emulator. It works fine, but I can't install the dolphin emulator. I saw that it was necessary to install the x86 version. but I can't find it. Can you tell me where I can find it ?

Yes, you need to install the x86 version of RetroPie - i.e. you need to run RetroPie on a PC, not on a Pi4. Dolphin is too demanding for a Pi4, even when installed on 64 bit.
-
@mitu ok, is there really no way to get dolphin with rasp?
-
In theory you can install it if you're using a 64Bit Raspi OS (Buster), but - as I said - it won't be too slow to be usable. If you have purchased a Pi4 in order to run GameCube/Wii games, I think you'll be disappointed.
-
@mitu Thanks I will try. Do you have a tutorial for me?

No, but you can follow the instructions in our Docs to install manually.

@mitu Hello, I just looked at the doc. but there is no instruction to manually install a command line emulator. I really tried to install it. can you help me ?

To install a specific package in RetroPie - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/#updatinginstalling-individual-packages.
Note - again - that Dolphin is not supported on a Pi4, so even if it's installed it may not run in a standard RetroPie installation. -
@mitu Do you have a tutorial to install a non-standard version?
-
@Exalos No.
