@Darksavior Your so misinformed, you must not do your own research or don’t bother reading what post have been made. They don’t have a patreon like you say they do and have warned people about it and to leave it as it’s a scam!!! They have posted this Multiple times in the group. There is also a fake Retro arena page going around as well doing the same garbage.
Then you say they don’t help? You clearly lost in your own world, take a few minutes and go read there Credits and see all the developers that have been part of the supreme Community and that have pushed updates to the official branch.

My friend @ChaosEffect asked DirtBagXon about displaying framerate in Supermodel earlier today, and DBX added the feature very quickly. As of today, adding-show-fps
to the Supermodel3 command line will add a fps readout to the runcommand log every second or so. But only if you update/install DBX's fork of Supermodel.
You can monitor it in real time if you ssh to your pi's terminal when you run a game and run the commandtail -f /dev/shm/runcommand.log
then you'll see exactly how well the pi5 handles model 3 games with/without overclock throughout an entire playthrough.
As I said, DBX is constantly updating and improving, and listens to feedback and requests. I have no idea why RetroPie Extras is still using MFN's old fork. -
@Widge It’s not true. They don’t have one and have told people it’s a scam! This is also happing to dev groups like retro arena that made images for the XU4.
You got people pretending to be others causing issues. I would personally join there official groups are websites and messages them directly.

option works well, but something is different here. At Yavin, when I shoot TIEs, there is a weird raspy sound that plays that isn't playing on @mechafatnick 's version. Framerate is at 60 unless I'm creating explosions, then it dips into the 40s. So something definitely less performant with this test.It's possible that the new code is adding some lag, but I'll look into this more later this evening.

@RapidEdwin08 I really don't follow them closely. I just noticed kiodiekin's channel mentioning he got AetherSX2 working.
Also, it's in your readme:
AetherSX2 Installed; Required PS2 BIOS *NOT Included* $HOME/RetroPie/BIOS/*.bin
And it's in your image. I just checked.

@Darksavior He is part of the community just like so manny other YouTubers that have showed their work. Not sure why your linking a YouTuber to the supreme team because he showed there work and helps test things for the retro community, that’s his own business and not supremes.

@Widge I synched to the changelist that preceded the

option and I'm still reliably getting what I'd describe as garbage sound (playing random data) periodically especially when multiple TIEs are on screen, or when there are explosions, but can occur at any time. So the issue is not with the addition of -show-fps. I didn't hear this in your video, so it's confusing where this is coming from.FWIW, I build without network support.
I cannot reproduce this raspy sound issue with the mechafatnick version. Both games are pretty zippy, but is "feels" like the mechafatnick version has less dips in performance. Could be placebo. But the audio with DBX's version is definitely a problem for me.
EDIT: I should clarify that BOTH versions run SWT at 59.997 (60fps) at 1080x768 either stock or overclocked. Infrequent hitching on Hoth and the forest speeder bike scene. Only infrequent moments of slowdown overall (load transitions, cutscenes and a few hardcore scenes). A very enjoyable experience.

I have a fresh build of Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit on a 8gb Pi 5. I installed RetroPi using the latest git build. I am trying to get various consoles working like many of you. It seems like several people here have been able to get N64 titles running and I have had no luck. I have tried multiple titles with 4 different emulators and all of them just kick me back to the ES screen after a couple seconds of dark. This is a new environment for me so apologies for the noobness.
I have been able to get Crash Bandicoot running for PSX, many titles for GBA/SNES no problem. Not sure what is wrong with the N64 titles. Sorry ahead of time I am not sure what logs to post.

@windg Sounds good. My main interest was in possibly asking to get AetherSX2 officially on RetroPie. I tried that person's 3rd party doom image and performance was all over the place. Gradius 5 and Contra Shattered Soldier ran at 60fps most of the time but bosses make them slow down to a crawl.
@retropieuser555 It's not running AetherSX2 on the desktop/Ubuntu.

I admit that so far, I've only been able to get the stand-alone mupen64plus to compile and run, which works with most N64 games when you run the mupen64plus-glide64 emulator from runcommand.
I have not been able to build lr-parallel (exp). Errors out with:
recomp.c:(.text+0x5f0c): undefined reference to `free_assembler' /usr/bin/ld: recomp.c:(.text+0x61e4): undefined reference to `init_assembler'
Perhaps @retropieuser555 has some insights, since he was able to compile and run.
Separately, I could build lr-mupen64plus-next (opt) and lr-mupen64-plus (main), but I have not been able to run them. Verbose Logging shows both error out with:
[ERROR] [EGL]: #0x3009, EGL_BAD_MATCH [ERROR] [KMS]: Error when switching mode. /opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1319: 15209 Segmentation fault
and both conclude with a
segmentation fault
.Having fun playing with the stand-alone mupen64plus in the meantime.
