      Hi there,

my Retropie (v4.8) works pretty well, even the save states are working. But in one game, "Zelda The Minish Cap" for GBA there is no chance to create a new savefile. If i want to create a game it says "Unable to save file". Other games even in GBA are fine.
      Does anyone know why?

Im using a GPi Case 2 with CM4. Retropie 4.8. All patches and tweaks are installed.

      Best regards

Launch the game with verbose logging enable, you will find this option in the runcommand menu, and add here the log with the use of pastebin.com .

Do you have the same issue with other gba emulator? For me, it looks like an incompatibility issue with the emulator.

the logfile you need is in /home/pi/.emulationstation/ ?

and yes other emulators for gba show the same issue

This is the file : /dev/shm/runcommand.log . Start the game, try to save and exit the game. Without restart or shutdown the system, take the file.

By the way, i try this game and save fuction it's working without issues, at least in the beggining. Try another rom from a different source, try also to update the system if you haven't.
