      Hi.
I use an Nvidia Shield gamepad with my Pi 4 running the latest version of RetroPie. However, when mapping the controller, I can map all the buttons properly up until LT. When I let go of LT RetroPie maps me letting it go as the button for RT. For that reason I had to skip mapping the triggers. This does not happen with the shoulder buttons.

Are LT/RT detected as buttons or axis ? If you test the input with jstest (see here), are LT/RT registered as button presses or axis movements ? Have you checked whether you gamepad model works fine on Linux (i.e. has support) ?

Please also add the rest of details about your setup, as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first (and don't say 'latest version', add the exact version).

@mitu They are registered as axis movements. The gamepad is compatible with Linux and works well for me.
