DraStic games not appearing
-
@Arctic452910 I also don't know how to save progress on drastic and would like some help with that too.
-
@phillip_benoit thanks for replying so quickly I will try that and get back to you on that. I feel dumb for asking, but how do I do that?
-
@phillip_benoit I figured it out and found all games I downloaded in the roms section of file manager. What do I do then?
-
@Arctic452910 in a terminal, you can type:
ls ~/RetroPie/roms/nds
the extension will be the last part of the file name after the "."
-
I haven't been able to figure out the next thing to do
-
@Arctic452910 compare the extensions. What are the extensions of the files that work? What is the extension of the files that do not?
-
I'm not sure what you mean by extensions. I'm mostly new to this stuff
-
-
@phillip_benoit thanks I'll watch it
-
@phillip_benoit there is a 7z beside the ones that don't work. There is a zip or nds beside the ones that do work.
-
@phillip_benoit I don't know what to do in this situation
-
@Arctic452910 7z is a type of compressed file that may not be compatible with your emulator. You'll either need to convert it to a zip file or uncompess it for the nds file inside.
-
@phillip_benoit how might I do that. Like I said I'm not good at this stuff
