I'm currently looking to get a backup retropie 4. My current one is 1 GB , 32 bit.

If i get " Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 2019 Quad Core 64 Bit WiFi Bluetooth (1GB) " and use my 32 bit pi 4 image/sd card built from here, with ssd drive, that i currently am using, will all be well with this new 64 bit one?

Also, if it is compatible, i could try some more advanced emulators for 64 bit systems, right? they might run weak 2d games, yes?

Yes. Do note that newer revisions of the Pi4 will need an updated (i.e. post 2019) firmware, but if you kept your OS up-to-date on the image you have now, it shouldn't be a problem.
