Daphne games freezing when trying to exit.

Hi All. When exiting or trying to exit a daphne game like Dragons Lair, the screen freezes and I can still hear video. I was instructed that I can’t use a select-start combo on the joystick controller, but should use the escape key on my keyboard. But all options freeze up the game and I have to reset my raspberry pi. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, did you ever get this working as I'm having same issues with my RPi 4B and Retropie. :)
