DS emulation on Raspberry pi 3?
-
So, I am building a gaming handheld. I wanna play retro games, yes, but also games as latest as Nintendo DS. So I have two options: either to go with model 3A+ or 3B+. How is the performance of titles like Zelda games, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario games, etc, on both of these systems?
Thanks for reading ^~^ -

... Nintendo DS.
The 'latest' DS would be the 2/3DS, which don't have a good emulator for a Pi3 (or even a Pi4 for that matter). On a Pi3 (A+/B+ have the same CPU/GPU, just different format and RAM) the original DS is emulated through
drastic
, a standalone emulator which is not open source - it works well enough for some titles, but it's not fullspeed. -
@mitu Ohh okay, thanks for the information. I was asking for the original (2006) DS only. Btw is drastic the only one? Or is that the most efficient one?

I think is the only one that performs well on the Pi3 .
