I know! Before you say it, Pi5 is not supported.
But Tekken 3 would not run at full speed on my Pi4. It runs perfectly on the 5, but no audio on anything. It did exactly the same on my regular Pi5.

All games run perfectly in retropie, but no audio.
I did the install as per the instructions here https://github.com/danielfreer/raspberrypi5-retropie-setup?tab=readme-ov-file

Here's a little video of how it behaves.

      Emulation Station V2.11.2RP
      RetroPie-Setup Script says Version 4.8.9

I'm not that fluent with Linux but I fumble through with google and youtube.

      Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to manually set the audio output to HDMI by going to RetroPie Setup > Audio > HDMI. Then restart EmulationStation.
        I hope it works.

(By the way, Tekken 3 is running at full speed even on the Raspberry Pi 3 at 720p resolution, so something else was the issue.(

Does anyone have a working ES volume slider on Pi5? Does it exist?

            @sugarfree In RetroPie Setup - configuration tools - audiosettings, I have :

            Mixer - Adjust output volume
            Reset to default
            Disable PulseAudio

            In Raspi-config - 6 Advanced Options - A7 Audio Config :

            1 PulseAudio
            2 Pipewire

            When PulseAudio is activated, Raspi-config - 1 System Options - S2 Audio
does nothing, go back to main menu raspi-config.

When Pipewire is activated, sometimes there is two otpions in Raspi-config - 1 System Options - S2 Audio :

            hdmi 0
            hdmi 1

But nothing work, pi5 freeze when sound should play with Pipewire.

In EmulationStation menu, it is always Audiocard : Default and Device : HDMI.

@sugarfree Strange rule... "Don't talk about your problem with people who have the same problem."

But it's ok, I go back to talk with myself on my topic.
