      'Doom 2' does not show up under Ports. I have the DOOM2.WAD and prboom.wad in my 'doom2' folder. The DOOM2.WAD has the correct crc32 info.

      'Doom' shows up in Ports, as does 'Freedoom - Phase One' & 'Freedoom - Phase Two'.

        @mbrett I think the installer only adds a launch script if your wads are in the main ports/doom folder:

        81:     wad="$romdir/ports/doom/$game"

        If you're gonna keep individual sub-folders for each game (for separate saves & settings) then you need to add the launch script manually as detailed in:

        https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Doom/#doom-2

        Doom II.sh:

        #!/bin/bash
        "/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh" 0 _PORT_ "doom" "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/doom/doom2/DOOM2.WAD"

            @sleve_mcdichael OK, so I copied DOOM2.WAD & FREEDOOM2.WAD to 'doom' folder. Restarted EmulationStation.

            Freedoom - Phase Two plays now from Ports. Doom 2 still not visible.

              @mbrett you'll need to run the installer again, did you?

                @sleve_mcdichael I exited out of Emulation Station, and ran Doom II.sh script from command line. Doom II ran.

                Huzzah!

                Restarted EmulationStation, and it still doesn't appear in ports.

                Do I have to put Doom II.sh as a file in a folder?

                  @sleve_mcdichael OK, Doom II.sh has to put in 'ports' folder. Bingo, works like a charm.

                    @sleve_mcdichael said in Doom 2 not showing under Ports:

                    If you're using DSDA-Doom this is not necessary, since it creates separate configuration and saves folders depending on the PWAD and IWAD used.
