You may have to installed lr-snes9x-next manually from Retropie Setup Script :)

Systems: Raspberry Pi 0/2/3 Model B+
      Os: RetroPie 4.5
      Frontend: Emulationstation & Attract Mode

snes9x is included and installed by default for the raspberry pi 2 and 3.

aah sorry you mean the standalone emulator ? It's optional and can be installed from retropie-setup -> manage packages as detailed here https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/First-Installation#installing-additional-emulators--ports

@Brigane lr-snes9x-next is installed by default, but the standalone snes9x emulator isn't.

Looks like the snes emulator names have changed from lr-snes9x-next, lr-catsfc, and lr-pocketsnes to SNes9x2010, snes9x2005, and snes9x2002 respectively. Not sure what is going on with lr-armsnes...

I just want to test that SuperFX Overclocking feature shown above in the video. So I need another core that is not default?

it's available in lr-snes9x-next I think which would not run fast enough on a rpi zero (and is disabled).

                      Hi BuZz:

                      I cannot find it. http://abload.de/img/img_45068lxuf.jpg

So I want to test the SuperFX OC Setting seen in the video above. But there is not snes9x next anywhere in retropie 4. has it been removed?

it's not available for the pi zero.

ok, good to know. I guess I'll have to wait for a new raspi if I want the full package since the zero is just too slow for superFX games.
