Can no longer connect my Raspberry Pi 4 to my Router

I used to be able to connect to a router I own than I haven’t used in a while without any issues. However, now that I am using it again for someone reason if always fails to connect, even though the password is connect and all of my other devices are functioning just fine with it.

I had issues with my Pi 4 bother connecting to my Phone’s hotspot, but that was mainly because the Pi 4 doesn’t work well with 2.4Ghz wi-fi signals. That had been solved through editing a wpa_supplicant.conf wifi to work with 2.4Ghz better which worked most of the time until I switched the hotspot to 5Ghz signals only and now my Pi 4 works flawlessly.

But now that I’m using my Router again, even though it’s using both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz I can no longer connect my pi to my router any more no matter how many times I’ve tried.

I will note that in the wifi settings, no matter how many times I set it, it always asks me to set up the country wi-fi location; and there appears to be 2 wi-fi signals in the wi-fi select (presumably, one being 2.4Ghz and the other 5Ghz). Also, using it through RetroPie.

So, I’m at a lost on what to do now; apart from trying out the ‘wifikeyfile.txt’ approach.

Any advice from given a direction to test out or information to share (so long as it's relevant) would be greatly appreciation.

Try using separate named SSIDs for 2.4/5Ghz and connect the Pi4 to the 5Ghz only SSID. Please also add some info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
