It says you hook up a gamepad, but I do not have one. Are there keyboard controls? If so, what are they?

        Hey @Dalekcraft,

Your talking about the initial first run of emulationstation where a window pops up asking to hold a button from a gamepad, correct?

If so, have you tried to hold a key on your keyboard to configure it? Check the First Installation page on the wiki. It appears that there is no default configuration with the keyboard. You will have to set this up on your own once you hold down a key.
