I've had problems the last few days on a raspbian + retropie script install. Everything works fine until the timeout (10 mins) of no usage kicks in. Then the Pi must be restarted to allow any more controllers to connect. I can't recall if the controllers shut off.

My main question is if any other users are experiencing this problem. I've programmed a simple patch that seems to be working, but if it's just me experiencing this glitch I won't push it.

Yeah, it does this on my Pi 2. If you don't use the bluetooth PS3 controller for 10 mins? then when the emulationstation screen dims the controller won't reconnect until RetroPie is rebooted.

Also noticed that it doesn't turn off the controller when shutting down Retropie, the red light is still on. Has no-one else experienced these two things ?

@windale if you like you can try this out. Assuming you know how to build from source. Https://GitHub.com/dark-show/sixad

Let me know if it mitigates the problem. It's just a hot fix until they work btsix support into bluez.
