Is it avaiable in retropie or do I have to install it?

I haven't done my RetroPi build yet (I'm still researching parts and such) but I know a handful of emulators support it. I'd love to see RetroPi add support for it as a global shader.

Well, hope you will soon enjoy your pi with such a good piece of software like retropie. question is, it is posible to add shadders to retroarch? thanks

I think you just need to add shader files.
And it looks like libretro may have xBR shaders already, so RetroPie probably has them.

There are two very different approaches with classic games and shaders.
One approach is to add curvature to the screen, CRT scan lines, etc. to try and replicate how the game would have looked on an older CRT TV.
The other approach is to remove "jaggies" and try to make the game look better today than it did before. I like this approach personally, but to each their own.

Same here but I'm only using the curvate versions. Feels more like the real thing.

I've been trying crt-pi and it looks awsome in metal slug, just had to adjust screen brightness a little bit. Is there a way to add more shadders to try?

If you're planning on using GLSL versions of those shaders on a Raspberry Pi I wouldn't get your hopes up. I had a quick look at a few of them and even the simplest look like they are doing too much processing for the Pi's GPU to handle at high frame rates.
