your error messages appear to be running from within a window manager. i thought retropie couldn't run with x running etc? you don't just double click on emulationstation or whatever.

@dankcushions For the PC it runs on X.

@allenpie I cannot advise without more details. Anything in ~/.emulationstation/es_log.txt ?

if you open a terminal and type emulationstation do you get anything outputted ?

I don't have one of these boards, so unless you have some knowledge to debug this yourself, I may not be able to advise.

Is that how the colours look on your desktop (jagged gradients due to few colours)? I suspect you do not have working 3d acceleration. You will need to get opengl working.

I got my controller to work in the menu but not for games

                            https://gyazo.com/62c1ce6da244955fe3d55957aaa31813
I allowed permisson and the game will lunch with my xbox 360 contoller not configured
So it doesn't work in any games or any roms just in the em station menu

I'm going to reinstall the xbox 360 controller drivers from the setup menu and see if it fixes the issue.

I'm getting the controller to show up when the game lunches just says not configured and I can't use it

No luck in game getting my controller to map, in emulation station it works just fine maps ect

But can't get it to load up in any games

                              Hello, just an updated

Tried Installed Ubuntu Xbox plugged in USB drive

I can configure it, I can get the xbox 360 controller working in the emulation station menu and select games ect. I am unable to get the controller to work with any game it doesn't detect it

I have tired the Xdrv driver
                              Ubuntu Drivers
I can use the controller on the OS no isses
Just doesn't load up in games? Is there an easy way to add this? Would love to find a fix and update this on the wiki as well
