      Pi Model: Pi 3 Model B
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.0.2
      Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: two joysticks, both from same type
      Controller used: Competition Pro USB Joystick

      Hello,
      installed retropie yesterday via SD image. Installed emulator for amiga games via Retropie Setup - Manage Packages. Configured both joysticks via emulations station. up/down/left/right/select/start/A/B. Start playing some amiga games. This went all good so long.

      But I can´t exit the games via my joystick! Tried to find correct button number ob my joystick via jstest. It is button 2 and 3.

      Button 2 and 3 are in config file, but nevertheless it won´ t work:

      cat /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/MOSICSPEED-LINKCompetitionPro.cfg
      input_device = "MOSIC      SPEED-LINK Competition Pro "
      input_driver = "udev"
      input_start_btn = "2"
      input_exit_emulator_btn = "2"
      input_up_axis = "-1"
      input_a_btn = "0"
      input_b_btn = "1"
      input_reset_btn = "1"
      input_down_axis = "+1"
      input_right_axis = "+0"
      input_state_slot_increase_axis = "+0"
      input_select_btn = "3"
      input_enable_hotkey_btn = "3"
      input_left_axis = "-0"
      input_state_slot_decrease_axis = "-0"

      It would be nice if anybody can help me.
      Thanks in advance
      Steffen

        @fodd42 The Amiga emulators aren't libretro based emulators and so you can't exit the same way, as the start+select combo are universal in those. From the wiki, it suggests that a keyboard can be used to enter the emulator menu and then probably exit from there.

              Alternatively, in uae4arm you could use xboxdrv and map Start as KEY_F12 and Select as KEY_Q, which would give you the desired effect.
