@herb_fargus Have you heard anything from the guy who was working on the new gen theme based off the Genesis collection for PS2?

@lilbud idk about the newgen theme. But github is version control so you can commit new changes as you develop your project. It's how the RetroPie project and themes are maintained. You can see this repository as an example:

It's a bit of a learning curve but there are lots of guides online on YouTube and other places on how to use it.

I made the GitHub repository, Material Theme, How is it added to the Retropie Community?

@lilbud its added when its complete ;)

but in the esthemes.sh module locally after this line:

https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/blob/841c5b237f025af2c458ea7b8c6caa7a36c644fe/scriptmodules/supplementary/esthemes.sh#L69

you can add 'lilbud material' and then you should be able to install it with theme installer from the setup script.

Very nice, look forward to the rest. Will you be doing Arcade and Daphne as well? Only a few themes support those as far as I could find.

Also, when it's complete, you could take a couple screenshots of the system screen and gamelist screen and make a pull request to https://github.com/wetriner/es-theme-gallery and an addition to the images.list, so they're available to preview in the esthemes module. If you want everything up to date right away.

@Finhead Yes, as it stands, I plan to do every system, even regional variations like the Mega Drive and the PC Engine

Nice :) , it'll be great to have another option for those 2 systems.
Like I say there limted right now. and 99% of my games fall into these 2.

@Finhead yeah, no results on the ES Scraper for any system after about 5 min of being frozen. Sselph's Scraper, I go to "scrape chosen systems" select Amiga, (or any system) and it fails to scrape. I just need people to test if box art is the right dimensions.

@Finhead Here you go, The Daphne material theme. You will have to replace the Daphne folder in the simple theme, for this theme is based off of that.

I installed this to try out but I can't seem to get Daphne to use images. I think it's a issue with the emulator not the theme though.
